Background Information

Medical Device Development: Advancing from Product to Market (MDD) is a flipped classroom hybrid course that examines the current climate for the development of medical devices.

The course is designed for professionals who seek to partner with key stakeholders and navigate decision- making processes and challenges.

The Harvard Catalyst Postgraduate Education Program uses the Curriculum Development Wheel, based on the Understanding by Design framework, to inform the learning design process.

As project lead, it was my responsibility to guide the course team in the design and development of the third iteration of the MDD course. The course team consisted of myself, course director, coordinator, and media producer.
